Flora Europaea perennial, H xeric to mesoxeric western Eurasian, continental typical forest-steppe species Festucion valesiacae, Quercetalia pubescentis R34, R4160-4162 habitats         One of the most typical and most frequent forest-steppe species from the extra-Carpathian regions which is very rare and local in Transylvania (western most part of the Tarnave Tableland).
